This is our second year of being back in NZ. Can’t say we miss the hot humid weather back in Oz. We’ve been so lucky to have the continued support of both kiwi and ozzie customers over the years, even during times of backed up jobs and getting ourselves relocated.
After many installs of Charger seats over the years, we finally decided to get our act together and make instructional videos to show how we install our own VH seat skins and foam. You might find these videos interesting even if you have a Todd Motors assembled VH/VJ 770 Charger.

In the past few years, a few customers have asked us how they could install seat skins themselves. This is not a job for the faint hearted, so we don’t normally recommend unless:
– you have installed seat skins before
– you are keen to learn and don’t mind making a few (inexpensive) mistakes
– you are physically up to the task as it is straining on the hands / arms and most of the time it is a full body work out
The reasons that we have decided to finally put the videos out:
– the few customers that we helped with our instructions had a great result. We used to give out written and pictorial instructions by email when requested; this was time consuming and sometimes could still be very confusing.
– More bang for your buck. Put extra $$$ towards your engine build, bling wheels, or whatever you fancy 🙂
– even if you’re not keen to install yourself, the videos showcase what we do and how we do it. This could be helpful if you’re relying on a friend / local trimmer who may be installing Charger seats for the first time.
